2. A Valid Passport
The passport should have a validity of at least six months beyond the intended stay. The passport must
have at least two blank pages to affix the visa.

The photo should be recent (less than 6 months old), in colour, on a white background.

of validity and must cover the entire duration of stay, including dates of arrival and departure.

details. If an applicant is travelling to several Schengen states, proof of travel within the Schengen area is
required, such as flight reservations, train tickets, or car rentals.
7. Proof of Sponsorship (if applicable)
– A declaration of proof is required if expenses shall be covered by a host/sponsor based in Malta (including if
hotel accommodation is covered by the host), or if private accommodation shall be provided.

of residence (such as a rental/lease agreement, and electricity/water bills), and/or proof of income (such as

How are visa application fees structured?
Visa application fees are divided into official consular fees (payable at the consulate) and our service fees. Please note that consular and our services fees are non-refundable once the application has been submitted to the embassy.
Can I apply for a visa if my passport is expiring soon?
Most embassies require your passport to be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended stay. If your passport is expiring sooner, we recommend renewing it before applying.
Do I need travel insurance for a Schengen visa?
What happens if my visa application is rejected?
If your visa is rejected, you will receive a letter explaining the reasons. You may have the option to appeal the decision or re-apply after addressing the issues mentioned in the rejection letter.
